DIAGNOdent®
The diagnodent is a new, high-tech laser system that aids in the early diagnosis of cavities in the complex chewing surface of the teeth. It utilizes wavelengths of laser light to help detect demineralized tooth substances (cavities) without x-ray exposure.
Oral Cancer Diagnosis:
CDX Brush - This is the first and only computerized brush biopsy system. It allows the dentist to quickly, painlessly, and reliably detect oral cancer in its earliest, most treatable stage. This breakthrough in oral cancer detection will allow the dentist to improve the prognosis of a disease that has remained unchanged for the last 50 years.
ViZiLite® Plus-The newest tool in the fight against oral disease is the ViziLite® Plus oral lesion identification and marking system. Early detection of abnormal tissue is the key to combating oral cancer effectively. Approximately 70% of the time with usual detection methods, oral cancer is not visible until it reaches an advanced stage.
